CSFWD GAD CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN LEADERS Empowering Women, Strengthening Leadership. The City of San Fernando Water District (CSFWD) successfully conducted its GAD Capacity Building Workshop for Women Leaders on September 16, 2026, anchored on the theme: “BABAE at TUBIG: Empowering Women Leaders as Water Conservation Champions.” The workshop aimed to raise awareness on water conservation, strengthen the technical capacity of women in basic plumbing tasks, and promote inclusivity in water management at the community level. Through meaningful discussions, hands-on learning, and collaborative activities, the participants were empowered with knowledge and practical skills that can help them become active partners and champions of responsible water use and conservation in their homes, workplaces, and communities. More than developing skills, the activity recognizes the important role of women in promoting sustainable water practices and contributing to inclusive and gender-responsive water management.
